Famous artist, Christo, has started working on his latest installation, a mastaba (referring to the trapezoidal structure used as a tomb in ancient Egypt) that will float on the Serpentine in Hyde Park, in London. The artwork, made from thousands of barrels, will be 20 metres tall, 30 metres wide and 40 metres long. It will be unveiled on or around 20 June, in conjunction with an exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery devoted to Christo and his late wife and artistic partner, Jeanne-Claude.
